“As an experienced musician of 33 years, it has been my vision to create a venue that has warmth and appeal to all ages. Over many years, I found myself frustrated trying to find a venue for my own band, let alone being able to recommend any. For me it’s all about the fellowship and providing a place that inspires and encourages true creativity. Mentoring young people, supporting musicians and just giving the old ‘rock ‘n roll’ guys like me a place to re-connect is what Neon Studios is all about.” Craig Harris, owner and creator of Neon Studios.
After 5 years of design and planning and 22 months of construction, Neon Studios has come to life. With no effort spared, every room has been sound engineered, checked and tested. Each room has top quality equipment and the recording rooms have floating floors, lighting and video racks. No dusty, dark and dingy rabbit warrens here. Instead you will find beautiful hand-crafted timber doors and wall panels, granite, glass features and classic art work. Doing what it takes to build a dream, keeping the costs down, using secondhand and recycled materials, pushing for the best deals around, all to make Neon Studios the amazing place it is.
A place you can play your heart out in a rehearsal room and then relax in one of the spacious lounge areas, enjoying a cappuccino or a cool drink while you read the latest industry magazines. Make your own dreams come true, recording your latest songs or your video clip. You could even use the Steinway Baby Grand Piano or the collection of Vintage Gibson Guitars.
